Militants of the Palestinian movement Hamas, long before the October 7, 2023 attack on Israel, planned to carry out a series of large-scale attacks and terrorist attacks on its territory in the style of September 11, 2001 in the United States. The 70-story Moshe Aviv Tower, the second tallest in Israel, and the Azrieli Center complex of three skyscrapers, a large shopping center, a train station and a cinema are listed as possible targets. The document notes that Hamas has not yet decided exactly how to destroy the buildings.
Furthermore, according to WP sources, both Iran and Hezbollah knew that Hamas was preparing for a large-scale attack. Iran’s Permanent Mission to the UN, responding to the newspaper’s questions, accused Israel of spreading disinformation.
