Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump called his Democratic rival Kamala Harris a “fascist” after she had previously hurled similar insults against her opponent.
“Kamala calls more than half the country enemies… and calls them all fascists and Nazis. But she is a fascist. OK? “She’s a fascist.” he told his supporters in Atlanta.
Previously, the New York Times, citing emails from the political action committee supporting Harris Future Forward, warned that accusations of fascism against Trump were unconvincing.
Earlier on CNN, Harris responded affirmatively to the anchor’s question about whether she considers Trump a fascist.
The United States presidential elections will take place on November 5. Vice President Harris represents the Democratic Party, former US President Donald Trump represents the Republicans.
