US Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris said nothing about her own plans to support kyiv during the debate with Republican candidate Donald Trump, writes the American magazine Foreign Policy.
“Harris has not laid out any future agenda for how his eventual administration would support Ukraine,” – says the material.
Moreover, the authors noted, the candidate did not even hint at her position on lifting the ban on long-range US weapons strikes on Russian territory.
The Trump-Harris debate took place on ABC on Wednesday. The candidates discussed a wide range of U.S. domestic and foreign policy issues, including the economy, the abortion ban, illegal immigration, and the conflicts in Ukraine and the Gaza Strip. Speaking about Ukraine, the current vice president admitted to transferring intelligence Vladimir Zelensky in February 2022 and stressed the special role of the United States in military support to kyiv.
