Harry and Meghan planned a luxury vacation to Portugal, but ran into unexpected difficulties

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle plan to spend a lot of time on the Portuguese coast. However, their plans for a luxury holiday in Portugal ran into unexpected difficulties.

Unfinished villa valued at $4.7 million

According to recent reports, his $4.7 million villa at CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club is not ready yet. Construction work is delayed and the couple cannot use the property.

CostaTerra is located 130 kilometers south of Lisbon. This 722-acre community includes approximately 300 residences. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex purchased one of the villas as a holiday destination rather than a permanent residence.

“A villa in Portugal is more of an investment than anything else. The construction is not even finished,” a source told Express.

He added: “The property is more for recreational purposes as well as preserving its heritage.”

The future of Harry and Meghan

A property investment in Portugal has sparked discussions about the couple’s future plans. For now, they have no plans to leave their main home in California. However, some sources suggest that they could be considering a move to Europe.

Former royal aide Grant Harrold said the purchase could signal the couple’s desire to reconnect with the royal family.

“Life in America may not have been what they expected. “This move could indicate an attempt to get closer to the United Kingdom,” he told the New York Post.

Harrold also noted that Portugal’s proximity to the UK would make it easier for Harry to spend more time with his family.

Cursor previously wrote that Kate Middleton appeared at a royal event for the first time after chemotherapy.
