“He and his entire government must go”

The president of the regional government of Castilla y León described this Friday as “very serious”, Alfonso Fernández Mañuecothe “accusations” brought the day before before the judge of the National Court, Ismael Moreno, by the commissioner in the so-called “Koldo case” Víctor de Aldama about the head of the Central Executive, Pedro Sanchezand other members of his government. From what he highlighted, he considers that the “situation” in which they find themselves is also “very serious”.

“If -Pedro Sánchez- arrived with a motion of censure to fight against corruption after everything we saw yesterday -Thursday-, he and his entire government must go“, he said from the Palace of Moncloa itself, just after meeting Sánchez as part of the series of meetings with regional leaders opened by the President of the Central Executive.

He literally remembered the words that Sánchez himself had used then, in 2018, during the debate in which took over the government of the popular Mariano Rajoy. “What anyone with a modicum of decency would do is resign, leave and leave the Spanish people alone. “That’s what I’m saying right now,” Mañueco said.

The popular baron also assured that if “from the first moment” we saw that the legislator was born “failed” – in reference to the conglomeration of parties added to the investiture coalition – time has shown “clearly that it was distressing”.

It is the members of the PSOE who must “act” to now promote a change of government, said Mañueco, who showed his support for the president of his party. Alberto Núñez Feijóo, after showing his willingness for a possible motion of censure against Sánchez, even if the PP does not have enough votes for this.

For his part, the general secretary of the PSOE of Castilla y León, Luis Tudança, criticized the fact that Mañueco is “more concerned” with defending the president of his party and his “mud” and “mud” strategy. Furthermore, he considered it “inconceivable” that he dares to speak of “corruption” in a Community, he stressed, in which cases such as the wind farm plot – awaiting judgment – and the Black Pearl – still without conviction – took place, with “dozens of accused” and PP officials involved.
