The Vigo Local Police arrested a 77-year-old man with the initials JCBP for, allegedly, attacking his daughter and seriously threatening his wife. It all happened on Emilio Martínez Garrido Street and the officers intercepted the man as he was packing his bags to leave the house.
A few minutes earlier, the police had arrived on the scene. finding a young woman “in a high state of anxiety”. She told them she had been hit by her father and was complaining of pain in her ribs. His mother confirmed these statements and pointed out that he had also seriously insulted and threatened her.
As a result, the man, who was packing his bags with the intention of leaving the family home, He was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of one offense of domestic violence and another of gender-based violence.
He was therefore transferred to the police stations, “showing violent behavior towards the actors.” For their part, the two women were treated by health personnel on board an ambulance from service 061 which arrived at the home.
