Lent.az has obtained the investigation materials of the murder case.

The investigation established that Solmaz Mansurova’s son, Ziya Mansurova, constantly humiliated her honor and dignity and inflicted physical pain on her. Zia decided to kill her mother in revenge for this. On February 10, around 6 in the morning, he took a knife from the kitchen of the house where they lived, went to the bedroom and began hitting the woman who was sleeping in the bed.

To save herself, Solmaz Mansurova resisted and fled to another room. However, Zia reached her and killed her mother with special cruelty by hitting her in various parts of her body in that room in front of her sisters.

Ziya Mansurov, questioned about the case, said that he studies ninth grade at the lyceum located in the Khatai district. Since childhood, his mother treated him badly, his dignity was humiliated and he was beaten regularly:

“Once, while I was talking on the phone with a classmate named Adil, my mother yelled and cursed at me. Upon hearing this, my classmate turned off the phone out of fear. My father, who works as a security guard in a school private Company, I left for the night shift around 6 pm on February 9. I went to school that day and came back in the afternoon, I played some games on the phone.

I was so nervous that I decided to kill my mother. I couldn’t sleep because I was thinking about it all night. On the 10th of the month, around 6 in the morning, I left my room and headed to the kitchen. Taking the knife, I entered the room where my mother was sleeping and hit Solmaz Mansurova, who was lying on the bed, on the head and in various parts of the body. My mother woke up screaming and tried to take the knife from me. He was resisting. Then my mother ran to the room where my sisters were sleeping. I ran after him with a knife in my hand. I kept hitting my mother in that room and told my sisters Nigara and Narmin not to face the noise. My mother ran to the bathroom and then to the bathroom, barely standing up. He tried to close the door, but I didn’t let him. I hurt my mother again when she fell on the bathroom floor. The woman’s voice stopped and she remained motionless on the ground. Then he left the bathroom; his condition had worsened. “My father and then the police came with the ambulance brigade.”

First he tried to push his mother from the balcony and knock her down.

Sabir Huseynov, legal heir of the victim, stated in his testimony that he married his daughter Solmaz Faig Mansurov and had three children from their marriage:

“Solmaz worked as a salesperson in a women’s clothing store located in the “Kilómetro 8” market. On February 4, 2023, Ziya tried to push her mother from the balcony to the ground, but Solmaz avoided it, so the desire to his son did not comply. When Solmaz asked why he acted like this, his son allegedly told me about this incident when he called me 6 days later, Ziya stabbed his mother in the house At the time of the incident, Nigar called his father and. stabbed himself. “He said he committed suicide. However, after police officers arrived at the scene, it became clear that this was not a case of suicide.”

Witness Faig Mansurov said that his wife Solmaz was a very nervous person. He did not go out with anyone at his house or in the store where he worked:

“One small reason was to leave the house, curse me, my son and the girls, and even force me. Once, during an argument, he hurt my leg with a kitchen knife. But since Solmaz is my wife, I didn’t inform the police. To free myself from my mother, Zia, his mother had created a fake male profile on her phone and showed the woman that she had romantic conversations with him. Then my son showed me the messages on the phone. I asked him who he was communicating with. My wife said that these messages did not belong to her.

On the morning of February 10, my daughter Narmin called me from Solmaz’s phone and told me that Ziya had killed her mother. I immediately left work and returned home. When I entered the apartment, I saw that the girls were sitting on the couch in the living room, my son was standing crying, and Solmaz was lying on the floor covered in blood in the bathroom. I approached and felt his pulse.

Why did you kill Ziyadan? When asked, he cried and did not respond. “I then called and informed my brother and father-in-law, who live in Ganja, about the incident.”

The witness Nigar Mansurova stated in her testimony that her mother was a nervous and very crazy woman who beat and insulted them and who did not get along with her father.

“On the morning of February 10, my sister and I woke up to the sound of screaming. We couldn’t understand anything because we were sleepy. We saw our mother trying to dodge my brother’s stabbing. Zia threatened us and told us not to interfere with We were scared and ran to the room with my sister and closed the door. After a while, my mother’s scream stopped. “My mother was lying in the bathroom. After that, he called our father and told him to come home.”

At the court session, Ziya Mansurov pleaded guilty to the charge and regretted his actions.

The prosecutor requested that the defendant be sentenced to 11 years.

The court concluded that Ziya Mansurov’s act was correctly described by the investigative body under article 120.2.4 (intentional murder with special cruelty) of the Criminal Code. The court considered his lack of age as a mitigating circumstance. The circumstances aggravating Mansurov’s punishment have not been identified.

Ziya Mansurov was sentenced to 10 years in prison by the Baku Serious Crimes Court and served his sentence in a general educational institution.
