Thousands of children were martyred in the 44-day Patriotic War.
One of them is the martyr Javid Vagif oglu Zeynalov, a resident of the village of Mirimli, Yardimli district, a military doctor. Javid Zeynalov was martyred on September 30 during the battles of Fuzuli. He was posthumously awarded the medal “For the Fatherland.”
According to Sakina Sadighova, the martyr’s mother, her son returned from the dead many times:
“When he was 9 or 10 months old, a chestnut fell into his vocal tube. That chestnut stayed in his throat for three months. He also had a car accident, but he didn’t die, he lived. He was a martyr.”
“He told me that when my world changes, you must be in front of those who carry my body, I beg you, do not leave my body empty. When I said that I was afraid of war and that I could not bear it if he became a martyr, he said not to be afraid, you are nothing more than the fathers of our martyrs,” said Vagif Zeynalov, the martyr’s father.
