He spent a month in prison under cover of his anonymity, between visits from his lawyer and calls to his wife.

According to prison sources, EL ESPAÑOL behaves like an inmate “model and polished”. Physically, he is the same. At the moment, he is not participating in any activities. From time to time, he meets another inmate to walk in the courtyard or chat in the dining room.

Aldama speaks almost every day on the phone with his wife. He receives visits from different lawyers and goes completely unnoticed in module four of this penitentiary center. Aldama is not “a masculine or stupid face. Nor does he spend all day at the window asking for things.” As officials point out, this goes completely unnoticed.

At his side, his inseparable companion, his partner Claudio Rivas. He spends all his time with him, even in the cell, where the General Secretariat of Prison Institutions, dependent on the Ministry of the Interior, has placed them.

This is what this newspaper revealed when the commissioner and the brains of Koldo affairand his partner in the million-dollar oil fraud, were assigned not only to the same module, but to the same cabin. More precisely, in cell 14 of the first floor of this module in Soto del Real, as confirmed by all the sources consulted by this newspaper.

Both entered together and were placed in the same cell upon arrival. a month agofirst in the income module.

This situation, as reflected inside the prison, is totally “abnormal”. The sources consulted even point out that the sole decision to place them in the same module was “questionable” and “irregular”, since they could be seen in different situations: from the patio to the dining room. These meetings could help them agree on the version to be presented to the judge.

According to other sources consulted by this newspaper, the prison of Soto of Real It is saturated and almost at the limit of its capacities. However, this would not explain the decision to place them in the same cell, since there are seven prisons in the Community of Madrid.

Friends and partners

The two partners will therefore continue to go hand in hand, as in recent years in view of the latest revelations. The UCO exposed the million dollar hydrocarbon fraud through its investigations into Aldama in the Koldo affair and its affairs with the Ministry of Transport.

In this way, the Civil Guard investigators discovered that where the commission agent would really obtain the greatest profits was in this sector, and not in that of the masks that he managed to place in different ministries during the pandemic of Covid-19.

By analyzing Aldama’s devices, investigators reached Claudio Rivas and 13 other people arrested for VAT fraud in the hydrocarbon sector. A fraud, as Judge Santiago Pedraz pointed out in the order by which he sentenced Aldama to prison, which amounts to 182 million euros.

Claudio Rivas is the brother of Maria Luisa RivasCEO of the company Villafuel SL. Pedraz emphasizes in his order that the investigation showed that this company was in reality “a company created to be able to support the title of operator, a title which authorized to the criminal organization make it work on the market through the instrumental structure of suppliers and thus perfect fraud”.

What we already call fuel plot is a “criminal organization” who “designed, implemented and operated a parallel business structure which he used to perfect the laundering of the proceeds.”

According to the investigation carried out by the Central Operational Unit (UCO) of the Civil Guard, “funds of criminal origin were transferred to their bank accounts, mainly from suppliers’ accounts. Since the money comes from the suppliers, the trading companies that used to lower the price of hydrocarbons with the VAT that they will not payall money transferred came from the allegedly defrauded charges.”

The two investigations, that of Koldo affair and that of the hydrocarbon conspiracy, come together in the relationship between Aldama and Rivas. Investigators even point out the advantages that Rivas was able to obtain from different members of Koldo García’s criminal organization. One of these advantages came from Rubén Villalba Carnererothe commander of the Civil Guard investigated in the Koldo affair.

This order, key to the Aldama network, processed a hunting weapons permit in favor of Claudio Rivas, safari fan. At least once he traveled to Africa to defeat lions, lionesses and wildebeestswith whose corpses he immortalized himself before sending the images to his partner and friend Aldama.

They’re both still together in prison, but they’ve been using each other for years. Thanks to the Commander of the Civil Guard, on June 14, 2022, Aldama managed to query the police databases and verify that there were UCO investigations opened against his partner.

Upon learning of this, Aldama went to the police headquarters where this elite unit is located. Investigators described the scene in one of their reports because of this “unusual” reaction.
