During the trial, Katy confirmed that her ex-boyfriend had initiated homophobic insults towards Samuel before attacking him. She, on the other hand, separated from deadly assault and stated that “he only tried to help, by separating Samuel’s friend.” And he even told the jury, while trying to apologize, that he had slapped his partner twice to make him see reason.
