Leaders and media representatives learned about the final work carried out in preparation for the COP29 conference during the media tour organized on November 8.

“The Report” reports that Anar Alakbarov, assistant to the president and director of the Baku Media Center, was present at the mediation. Arzu AliyevaCOP29 was attended by Narmin Jarchalova, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Operating Officer, and media representatives.

Media heads and journalists visited the blue and green zones of the Baku stadium, where the conference will be held, learned about the infrastructure created in the event space, provided technologies, zones and spaces for various purposes. During the conference, the guests also visited the Media Center, where the necessary conditions were created for organizing the effective work of media representatives.

It was noted that there are 155 pavilions on the premises and numerous exhibitions are planned in them.

During the meeting, an inspection was also carried out at the Azerbaijan pavilion. It was reported that this pavilion has 450 square meters. Dozens of events will be held here throughout the day.

Meeting rooms, press center and dining rooms were also inspected.

In zone C of the event venue, a corner reflecting the history of Azerbaijan was created and special exhibits were brought.

During the meeting it was reported that there are 29 meeting rooms in total. The Nizami hall is the place where the main official events will take place, it has 1600 seats. The Leaders Summit will be held here.

Video images reflecting the charm of Azerbaijan’s nature will also be broadcast at the event venue.

In addition, there was also a review of the vehicles that will be used during COP29. It was reported that 210 vehicles will be present at the Leaders Summit and a total of 500 vehicles will be used. 140 of them will be electric buses

After visiting the place, a meeting was held with the COP29 Volunteers, whose activity was highly valued.
