Here are the riders’ standings after the Singapore GP

Lando Norris keep tracking Max Verstappen in the Formula 1 World Cup standings. The British driver won the Singapore GP ahead of the championship leader and reduced his lead from eight points in the standings to just 52 points with six races remaining. Ultimately, he was unable to set the fastest lap as Ricciardo took it from him on the final lap.

McLaren consolidates its position at the top of the Constructors’ World Championship standings after finishing first and third respectively. Norris drove an impeccable race, leaving Verstappen with no options from the start. Lando has not yet said his last word and promises to fight until the end. The orange car is very strong and is the fastest car on the grid today.

Max saved the day in the race after the weekend didn’t start so well. But in qualifying, the Dutchman made a step forward and managed to start from second place. The Red Bull driver is not going to make things easy for his rivals. Norris is fighting, but Verstappen is not failing either and has only lost seven points in a weekend that has not been very good for him.

For his part, Fernando Alonso manages to leave Singapore with a magnificent eighth place after a Friday where the worst was feared. The Aston Martin is one of the worst cars on the grid, but Magic has once again worked magic to score four points that taste of glory after the start of the Grand Prix.
