Hezbollah’s press service expressed outrage at the publications of the Saudi television channel Al-Hadat, accusing it of spreading “Zionist propaganda.”
Israel Info writes about this.
The cause of the conflict was a report about an alleged IDF operation in the Al-Batrun area, during which, according to the television channel, a Lebanese naval officer or Hezbollah member, Imad Fadl Amhaz, was captured.
Hezbollah has denied that the organization has official or close sources that could provide such information.
However, some sources associated with the organization told Al-Hadat that Amkhaz is not a militant, but only a civilian naval officer with indirect ties to the movement.
In response, Hezbollah accused the channel of engaging in a campaign targeting its organization and the Lebanese people.
Previously “Kursor” wrote about the kidnapping of a Hezbollah representative in Lebanon.
The media revealed details of a secret operation in Lebanon, during which Israeli special forces from the Shayetet 13 unit captured one of the key representatives of Hezbollah in northern Lebanon, in the Al-Batrun area.
The captured militant, who possessed valuable knowledge, was transferred to Unit 504, specialized in intelligence, for interrogation in Israel.
Although the incident attracted attention, the IDF has not officially confirmed this information, emphasizing that the publication was not censored and the information remains unofficial.
