A salvo of 10 rockets was fired from Lebanon towards the city of Haifa in Israel. The Times of Israel reported this on November 16.
“According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), some of the rockets were intercepted and several hits were recorded. “No casualties have been reported yet.” – the newspaper reported.
It is stated that one of the rockets damaged the synagogue. Since no one was inside the building at the time of the attack, there were no casualties.
“The synagogue building in the northern port city of Haifa was severely damaged this afternoon as a result of a missile attack by the Shiite movement Hezbollah,” – the publication stated.
November 12 Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz declared that there would be no ceasefire in Lebanon. According to him, the Israeli army will continue attacking Hezbollah until the war objectives are achieved.
