Hezbollah terrorists killed four 19-year-old Israeli soldiers and they seriously injured seven others in a drone attack on a military base in Binyamina, between Haifa and Tel Aviv.
“This evening, a drone from the terrorist organization Hezbollah attacked a military base near Binyamina. In this incident, four soldiers of the Israeli Armed Forces were killed and seven were seriously injured,” explained Daniel Hagari, official spokesperson for the Israeli Armed Forces, in a statement published on his official Telegram channel.
Likewise, he reported that “all the injured have been transferred to hospitals and their families have already been notified.” “The incident is under investigation,” he added.
The message is accompanied by a video in which Hagari explains being near Binyamina, where the Hezbollah drone struck “around 7 p.m. this Sunday, killing four Israeli soldiers.”
“All soldiers on the base have been ordered to call home. We manage everything. “We will investigate and learn from what happened,” he assured.
On the other hand, the head of the Israeli army, Herzi Halevi, described this attack as “serious” and “painful” and recalled that attack “against a training base” “At the back, it’s something serious.”
“We continue to fight and train for the next (battles),” said Halevi, who praised the fact that the attack-hit Golani Brigade “has achieved many successes in the war and faced difficult situations with courage.
This Monday, the Israeli army identified the four soldiers killed in the attack, all aged 19 and with the rank of sergeant. So, he said they were Omri Tamari, Yosef Hieb, Yoav Agmon and Alon Amitay.
