Contact with Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was lost after Israeli attacks on Beirut’s southern suburbs, Reuters reports, citing a source close to the group. Bloomberg also writes that his whereabouts are unknown.
Israel identified Hezbollah headquarters as its target. According to an ABC source, Nasrallah and some of his collaborators were in the Lebanese capital at the time of the attack. The Wall Street Journal writes that there is no contact with several high-ranking members of the group.
A few hours ago, a Reuters source close to Hezbollah reported that Nasrallah was alive. The Iranian Tasnim agency wrote that he was in a safe place. The group has not yet made any statements about him.
