Hezbollah He already has a new leader. Naim Qassem takes command of the Lebanese militia party a month after the assassination by Israel of his predecessor, Hassan Nasrallahduring an attack in Dahiye (Beirut). Nasrallah led the organization for the past three decades.

Nasrallah assumed leadership and took the position of deputy secretary general, responsible for political and institutional issues.

Party militia used other names to succeed Nasrallah, such as Mohammad Yazbeck, close to the supreme leader of Iran, or Ibrahim Amine el Sayed, responsible for announcing the creation of Hezbollah in 1985.
