Hezbollah pager explosions: Bulgarian company entrepreneur missing – media

Following reports of the explosion of pagers used by Hezbollah militants, an investigation has been launched into Norta Global Ltd, a Sofia-based company involved in supplying these devices to Lebanon. The company’s founder, 39-year-old Indian businessman Rinson Jose, who has been living in Norway since 2015, disappeared shortly after a pager operation in Lebanon.

This was reported by Israel Info.

According to Britain’s Daily Mail, Jose left on Tuesday on a planned business trip, but his employers at the Norwegian media conglomerate NHST lost contact with him. Realizing Jose’s possible connections to the events in Lebanon, they contacted the Norwegian national intelligence service, which joined the investigation. In his apartment in an Oslo suburb, the shutters are closed, the lawn is unkempt, and the businessman has not been seen by neighbors for several months.

Oslo police have launched a preliminary investigation in an effort to track down Jose and investigate his possible involvement in illegal activities. Norta Global itself, registered in Budapest, ceased to exist online shortly after the explosions in Lebanon.

It also emerged that Jose was actively collaborating with Israeli startups as part of the Mamram For Founders program, overseen by the Mamram Association, created by former commanders of the IDF’s cyber unit. This added further complexity to the investigation, as it emerged that around 150 people may have been involved in a project related to the supply of communications equipment to Hezbollah.

Now police and intelligence agencies in several countries are continuing to work to establish a full picture of how Norta Global became involved in this international scandal.

Earlier, Kursor reported that the media published new details of the investigation into the pager explosions.

It has been revealed what type of explosive was used to detonate Hezbollah’s pagers.
