International institutions should develop measures against such high-tech attacks, otherwise no one will feel safe, said State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin.
“A series of explosions of various equipment occurred in Lebanon: pagers, telephones, walkie-talkies and other electronic devices. As a result, more than 3,000 people were injured and several dozen killed. A planned high-tech attack could have serious consequences for the world. What happened in Lebanon must be thoroughly investigated.” — he wrote on his Telegram channel.
As the MP stressed, “the very fact that household electronic devices have been used as explosive devices requires proper investigation.”
“The possibility of mass production of such “weapons” takes terrorism to a new level. This is a global threat to all countries. International institutions must develop measures against such crimes. Otherwise, no one will be able to feel safe.” – he pointed out.
