Hikmet Hajiyev: “We live in a hypocritical world”

Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev, who visited the Kalbajar region with representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan, spoke about the tragedies in the region on the social network and announced the destinations that the diplomats will visit.

Oku.Az reports that the president’s assistant wrote about this on the social network.

“Together with the diplomatic corps we will visit Kalbajar from Naftalan, which is the front line of the Armenian military occupation. Following anti-terrorist measures, access to Kalbajar, which is surrounded by mountains, has been significantly improved through the Aghdara region. On the way we will visit the Sarsang reservoir, long used by Armenia for hydroterrorism and water deprivation, as well as newly opened residential buildings, industrial and cultural-religious facilities and the Presidential Palace. Ilham Aliyev We will visit other recently opened facilities,” said H. Hajiyev.

According to him, civilian property and cultural monuments were destroyed and looted during the occupation and even when leaving Kalbajar:

“As if this were not enough, Armenia and its supporters in Western institutions, as well as paid lobbyists, shamelessly and without the slightest sense of guilt, continue to make baseless and absurd accusations against Azerbaijan. We live in a hypocritical world! But truth and justice may be twisted, but unbreakable.”
