Elon Musk has been flirting for several weeks with reaching a new record, that of becoming the richest billionaire in the world. And he finally succeeded. The American tycoon reached an incredible figure of 348,000 million dollars, surpassing the 340,000 he reached in November 2021.
And it’s all thanks to the relentless rise in Tesla shares and a new round of funding that values its artificial intelligence startup xAI at $50 billion. Along these lines, Tesla shares rose 3.8% on Friday, reflecting continued market optimism and accumulating a revaluation of more than 60% over the past month. For its part, the value of xAI has more than doubled since its last fundraising in May.
