Since October 29, Spain, and more particularly the eastern part of the peninsula, has been facing one of the most catastrophic natural episodes in recent decades: passing a DANA (Isolated High Level Depression) which caused significant human and environmental damage in several regions.

It caused the death of 205 people at the time of publication of these lines.has impacted the lives of thousands of residents and affected the infrastructure of many cities. The weather phenomenon not only caused flooding and river overflows in parts of the Valencian Community, it also caused damage in Andalusia, Murcia and Castile-La Mancha.

Faced with the magnitude of the events, both organizations and citizens have dedicated themselves to helping survivors, relatives of missing people and those affected, in one way or another, by DANA. Example of this: cHundreds of people carrying food and water, but above all shovels and brooms, crossed this Thursday the pedestrian bridge which connects Valencia to its district of La Torre, the most affected in the capital.

Emergency numbers
