This is the great dilemma of the RN this autumn, and perhaps this winter: to overthrow the government, at the risk of being accused of “institutional chaos”or extend the pardon granted to Michel Barnier, at the risk of appearing as the Savoyard’s (or even Emmanuel Macron’s) crutch. One person decides, alone, the position to adopt: Marine Le Pen. For the moment, and contrary to the comments of her own deputies – who point out an almost generalized demand to censure Mr. Barnier -, the elected representative of Pas de Calais considers that it is always in her best interest to act as guarantor of the “institutional stability”able (expected) to obtain concessions from the Prime Minister on security, immigration or the economy.
