The geomagnetic storm will continue until noon today.

It was observed that the activity has increased to a high level due to the continuous and long-lasting flares on the Sun. Solar activity has created magnetic storms on Earth due to M flares (which block radio waves, preventing them from propagating) and X flares (strong).
Due to solar coronal mass ejections, a magnetic storm of level G1 (mild) and later G2 (moderate) occurred in the middle of the day on September 16. During the night, the hurricane level reached G3 (strong). The magnetic storm will continue until noon on September 17. After a few hours, the Earth’s geomagnetic field will return to its normal level.
A geomagnetic storm is felt at the G2-G3 level at high geographic latitudes and at the G1 level at mid-geographic latitudes.
