In the building with 193 historical-architectural monuments located in the city of Baku, within the framework of repair and restoration work carried out in connection with COP29, permanent control was organized to preserve the historical value, originality, stability and Artistic-aesthetic aspect of monuments.
This was told to “Trend” by Fariz Huseynli, press secretary of the State Service for the Protection, Development and Restoration of Cultural Heritage of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
He noted that repair and restoration work is carried out under the supervision of specialists within the framework of cooperation with contracting companies.
“At the same time, advertising, appliances and communication lines that harmed the artistic and aesthetic appearance of the monuments were removed from the facades of the buildings.
Work in this direction is currently continuing. “It is strictly controlled that the renovation and improvement works are carried out without damaging the architectural style and the artistic-aesthetic aspect of the historical monuments,” the spokesperson stressed.
