How the Arab world reacted to the release of Farhan Qadi

The release of Farhan Qadi, an Israeli Bedouin, from captivity in the Gaza Strip has sparked a reaction in the Arab world. The IDF rescue operation attracted the attention of many analysts and commentators, and Kadi, who is in stable condition, was transferred to Soroka Hospital for observation.

This is what the Telegram channel “Ozratel” writes about.

Egyptian analyst Nervana Mahmoud, who lives in London, commented sarcastically on the reaction of Qatari television channel Al Jazeera, which covered the release of an Israeli Muslim with obvious discontent. Mahmoud said the myth that Hamas terrorists supposedly released Farhan Qadi because of his Arab origin does not stand up to scrutiny. She stressed that for the terrorists he was a traitor and that they were keeping him alive only for a possible exchange for their prisoners.

Abu Dhabi activist Louis Cherif also highlighted the importance of this operation, emphasizing that the release of an Israeli Muslim shatters false notions that Israel is an apartheid state. The sheriff expressed his congratulations to both Israel and all of humanity, considering this event as a symbolic step towards a more equitable perception of reality in the Middle East.

However, other versions of what happened are spreading in the Gaza Strip. Local telegram channels claim that Hamas released Qadi allegedly because of his Palestinian origin. Meanwhile, questions are being raised on Jordanian forums about why only one hostage was released and how he ended up in the tunnel.

Saudi Arabia’s Eljaf website posted the news of Farhan’s rescue on its home page, saying Bedouins in Israel welcomed his release.

Earlier, Cursor reported that IDF forces found Hamas terrorist hostage Farhan Qadi while searching a tunnel in Gaza.
