In many cases, for example, if you have a child living abroad and there is a big time difference. If you activate dual time, you will be able to know when is the best time to call him. Be careful, because it is a very simple step to put into practice.
How to Enable Double Time on Android
On the home screen of your Android device, you will have the time clearly visible by default. For enable double time We will go to the Settings icon, which you will probably find on this same screen or in a folder. Click on it.
Now we’re going to scroll down a bit in this menu and find a tab called “System and Updates”. If it’s not called that, it should be called “System”, since it will depend on the Android versionand if there is a manufacturer customization layer. We click on this tab.
Now we will find a tab titled “Date and Time”. This is where we will find the possibility to display double time on the home screen of our Android device.
There are different functions, such as set the watch to 24-hour or 12-hour mode, that the time is set automatically, when the device is connected to the Internet, the time zone we are in and, finally, the Dual Clock option.
If we click on the switch, we will automatically display the double time on our Android device.
But if you leave it like that, the only thing you will do is see your current city time duplicated. You must enter the city for which you want to know the double time. You will see that just below we find the option “Local City”. We click on it.
The only thing we have to do is click on “Add city” and write the name of the city for which we also want to have the time on the screen.
This way, when we return to the home screen, we will see that our devices will automatically show us these two times.
