Law enforcement agencies recently conducted another successful operation against cybercrime. Thus, Sanan Abbasov, a resident of the capital, born in 2000, was detained while trying to cross the border. He created fake pages on the social network “TikTok” similar to the names of non-bank credit organizations, using the trust and financial sensitivity of citizens to deceive them. Using various methods, Sanan Abbasov deceived a total of 200 people and embezzled more than 350,000 manats. Law enforcement agencies have revealed all the details of the crimes and taken appropriate measures. This incident shows us how dangerous modern scammers are and how important it is to protect our money and personal information.
But how can we avoid becoming victims of such scammers? The cybersecurity expert from Azpul LLC, a non-bank credit organization (BOKT), which is currently considered the leader of the microcredit market in our country, has some recommendations in this regard.
Beware of dubious offers!
“First, avoid attractive offers from unknown people. Scammers often make attractive offers to get your personal information. Remember that free cheese is just a trap. If you are offered help, make sure it is a scam!
Remember:
• Your loan cannot be paid in whole or in part by third parties.

Stay away from fake surveys!
Representatives of official financial institutions and government departments. You cannot ask them to link or provide personal information through messages. If in doubt, consult information only through official channels.
Protect your data!

• To suspicious links do not change. By clicking on such links you may unwittingly become a victim of criminals.
