How to manage an emergency like the one we are experiencing these days in the Valencian Community? What environmental and social consequences does this have? How do professionals experience it in the field? What is needed and what is still missing?

At Carne Cruda we look again at València and the places affected by DANA and we do it in a program in collaboration with Action against hunger. We focus on those who carry out the coordination of equipment and works in the middle of the disaster, on what happened and continues to happen in the affected villages and look at the people who are experiencing it on the front lines: neighbors, professionals of any type. and volunteers.

We spend the last hour with journalists who are in the affected municipalities and analyze with experts in emergency and disaster management what is happening in Valencia, what are the professionals who are on the ground doing, what are the environmental and social consequences about all of this and how to deal with them. We are joined by Action Against Hunger, its deputy director Sonia Gonzalez, Pablo Maire, responsible for water and sanitation; and Valencia, Elisa BernalFocal point for emergency communication.

A program in which we also listen to how the work of volunteers and volunteers takes place through the voice of testimonies from Ana Trancosowho lives in Valencia and has been in the areas affected by Dana and the Valencian journalist since the beginning Pilar Almenar He guides us to show us how people and helpers organized themselves during a 12 kilometer walking route, starting from Valencia and entering Ground Zero, we travel through the Valencian district of La Torre and the towns of Alfafar and Benetússer. In addition, we discuss with Big DadSenegalese who lives in Barcelona, where he works as a music producer and runs the NGO Baye Fall and we organized 200 people to travel to Valencia and work as volunteers for several days.
