The Institute of Elderly and Social Services opened on July 1. The term for the elderly to ask for one of the 879,213 places of the tourism program in the season 2025/2026. This is one of the most anticipated challenges of thousands of pensioners who, year after year, find on these trips the opportunity to relax, know new directions, communicate and improve their physical and emotional wells at affordable prices.
Directions available this year cover as a peninsula – from eight and 10 -day stay – both the Canary Islands and the Balearian Islands. Dua also offers provincial capitals, tours and trips to Ceuta and Melilla.
Then we explain all the key aspects to request a place, as well as the requirements for registration, affordable directions, prices and the most important dates.
Registration requirements
People who fulfill any of the following requirements can request a place in the program in accordance with the resolution on June 25, 2025, published in BOE:
- Be a pensioner of the Spanish Social Security System.
- Be a pensioner of the widow from 55 or more years in Spain.
- Be a pensioner for other concepts of social security or perception of unemployment benefits or subsidies, from 60 or more years.
- Be insured with either the beneficiary of the Spanish social security system, from 65 years or more.
In addition to the inhabitants of Spain, the inhabitants of the Spanish abroad who meet these requirements can also gain access, as well as Spanish emigrants who are pensioners from other countries.
On the other hand, the beneficiaries can travel accompanied by their spouse or actual partner, even if this does not comply with the established conditions or their children with recognized violations equal or exceeding 45%.
And in all cases, both the headlines of the area and their satellites should be autonomous and able to develop for themselves in the main actions of everyday life.
How to file an application
In the summer, many are already dreaming of their next autumn leave and in order to make it reality, the first step is clear: access to the IMSERSO portal, complete the form and do not allow the deadline that will be open until July 23.
IMSERSO recommends users to stop preferably through their electronic headquarters to be the most flexible and affordable method. Nevertheless, those who want can also send their application by mail mail to section 10.140, 28080 Madrid. And, in the case of residents abroad, the statements should be processed through the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Social Security of the country in which they are located.
If you finally decide to make the application telematically, we will explain how to take it through three steps:
- First, contact the IMSERSO electronic headquarters to request a square.
- Once inside, you will find this form, which you must fill out with the applicant’s personal data – as a name, address or phone – and, if applicable, the data of your partner. The desired places of travel (up to two to two) and the provision of the necessary economic information should also be indicated.
- In the end, you must click the “Send” button, which you will find at the end of the form to formalize the registration process.
Keep in mind that people who have already been accredited in the previous seasons will not have to submit a new request, since they will receive a document with their personal data and their previously registered preferences in the appointment. However, if they wanted to change any data, they just have to return this document until the end of the term.
Select your favorite place
The travel season begins in October, but if you still do not know which fate to choose, this is the perfect time to detect various methods that the 2025/2026 program offers. From a long stay on the coast of the Mediterranean to other options intended for various tastes and plans.
Firstly, the peninsula area offers 10 and eight days in Catalonia, Andalusia, in the region of Mursia and the Valencian community. On the other hand, the area of the island coast considers similar, eight and 10 days in the Canary Islands and in the Balearian Islands, ensuring the unique experience of the island.
What are you more than the beach? The program also includes the modality of Escape Tourism, with a shorter stay of four, five and six days, which is organized around various types of travel: cultural schemes, natural tourism, visits to provincial capitals, as well as tours to the autonomous cities of Seuta and Mellya.
Prices for the peninsula
Prices vary depending on the destination, duration, if the trip includes transport or not, and if it is a high season (October, May and June) or a minimum (November, December, January, February March and April). In the area of the peninsula coastal zone, the program offers two methods, since the transportation is included or not:
On the one hand, in an option with transport, you can choose between a 10 -day stay at a price of 309.22 euros in a low season and 409.22 euros in a high season; Or staying eight days and seven nights, for 244.04 euros in a low season and 344.04 euros in a high season.
On the other hand, those who choose modality without transport have less prices. In this case, 10 days and nine night housing costs 270.39 euros in the low season and 370.39 euros in the high season; While eight -day stay and seven nights are offered for 224.63 euros in a low season and 324.63 euros in a high season.
Prices for the Canary Islands and the Balearian Islands
For those who prefer to enjoy the sea in the island environment, the program also considers trips to the Canary Islands and the Balearian Illes, with accommodation options both with and without transport.
In the case of the Canary Islands, modality with transport offers a 10 -day stay for 464.72 euros in a low season (October, November, April, May and June) and 564.72 in the high season (December, January and February), while the option of eight -day daily euros costs 378.75 euros in low and 478.75 in the Alta. If modality is selected without transport, prices are reduced to 270.39 euros (minimum) and 370.39 euros (maximum) within 10 days, already 224.28 euros (minimum) and 324.28 euros (maximum) within eight days.
In the Balearian Islands, including transport, a 10 -day stay is 353.37 euros in a low season (December, January, February March and April) and 453.37 in the high season (October, May and June). On the contrary, an eight -day option costs 285.29 euros with a decrease and 385.29 at a high level. Without transport, prices fall to 270.52 euros (minimum) and 370.52 euros (maximum) within 10 days, already 224.36 euros (minimum) and 324.36 euros (maximum) by eight.
