He President of the Parliament of Navarre, Unai Hualdemaintained this Wednesday a meeting in his official office with the Lehendakari, Imanol Pradalesin which both agreed on “the need to intensify the current collaboration model between the two communities, taking into account the historical, cultural, linguistic and social links which unite them.”
The meeting is part of the First institutional visit of the new Lehendakari of the Basque Government visited Navarre and during which he met with the main institutional leaders of the Regional Community.
As the Parliament states in a press release, the meeting with Hualde “served to reaffirm the need to intensify the current model of collaboration between the Regional Community and the Autonomous Community of the Basque Countrytaking into account the historical, cultural, linguistic and social links which unite them”.
During the meeting, Hualde and Pradales had the opportunity to analyze current political events and agreed to emphasize “the importance of maintain fluid relations and institutional and administrative collaboration between territories subject to special relations”.
