This Saturday afternoon, a group of forestry workers found human remains in an isolated mountainous area, between the towns of Jaramillo Quemado and Piedrahita de Muñó in the province of Burgos. Initial hypotheses suggest that it could be a 62-year-old woman who disappeared in February in the region.
According to sources from the Civil Guard of Ical, the bones were found in the surrounding area at 5:00 p.m. yesterday Saturday afternoonon October 5. Given the appearance of a human being, they notified the armed Institute.
The agents appeared in the mountains, an area far from any populationand they located all the bones that “corresponded to human remains” and they were handed over to the appropriate authority for forensic analysis.
It is this study which will decide whether they belong to the 62-year-old woman disappeared on February 29 in Pinilla de los Morosa town in Burgos located a few kilometers from the mountainous area between Jaramillo Quemado and Piedrahita de Muñó where the bones were located.
