The Castilla-La Mancha 112 Service reported the discovery of the human remains of a person in the neighborhood of Las Ramblas de Letur, a town in Albacete where work is underway to search for four people missing since the flood that devastated the urban area last year on Tuesday.
Notice of discovery was received around 9:00 p.m. on Monday, November 4. The same sources indicate that the Civil Guard will be the body responsible for the analytical work to identify the remains.
The body of one of the missing people found last Sunday
This Sunday, November 3, the body of one of the people wanted in the town was located. It was a 70-year-old woman whose body was found 12 kilometers from the town of Albacete. The woman, Antonia, was at home, located in one of the places where the torrent of water that should have carried her away passed.
“This is very tragic news,” lamented the delegate of the Council of Communities of Albacete, Pedro Antonio Ruiz Santos.
