JAKARTA – Hundreds of candidates -candidates in the bride (Katin) joined the program of mass marriage in the Mosque of Trudclil, Jakarta, Saturday (06/28/2025).
This program was initiated by the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) to welcome the Islamic New Year, 1 Muharram 1447 H.
From monitoring OksoneAt 09.00, as the bride and groom and his family were prepared in the Mosque of Trudclaw to follow a series of wedding processions. In addition, the Minister of Religion Nasaruddin Umar must be present and give a marriage sermon.
Earlier, the general director of the leadership in the Islamic community, Abu Rokhmad explained, this mass marriage was aimed at destitute people who were limited by marriage costs.
“We want to ensure the simplicity of access to the community in order to hold the actual marriage without being burdened with high costs,” Abu said.
In addition to receiving an official book about a marriage added Abu, each pair will receive a dowry and souvenir package from the committee. All objects are provided free of charge.
