JAKARTA – Hundreds of houses in two pillars of residents (RW) in the areas of KEBON PALA and LOW TANAH, JATINAGAR, Eastern Jakarta, were flooded on Sunday (7/7/2055). The floods even reached a height of almost 3 meters.
The floods were caused by the overflow of the Kilivang River, which crossed the settlement. Some residents began to run to a higher place to search for protection.
Occual observations in this place, which saw several two enthusiastic vehicles belonging to residents, were immersed in water. Residents also tried to protect their motorcycles from flooding.
“Some residents remain on the second floor of their home,” said Jehoni, one of the inhabitants on the spot.
From the high -flower, the activity of the inhabitants on the spot was completely paralyzed. Some residents were forced to break through the floods to leave the house to look for needs or to a safer place.
The floods are as high as more than two meters, are the effect of overflowing the Kilivung River, which cannot adapt a high discharge of water.
This water debit increased sharply after receiving the shipment from the dam, Bogor, Western Java.
