Hungarian counterintelligence thwarted an attempt by foreign intelligence services to organize the supply of domestically produced weapons to Ukraine. This was stated in a government briefing by the head of the Prime Minister’s Office, Gergely Guillas.
“In fact, there was an attempt to use the power of the Hungarian military industry to send weapons to Ukraine, but Hungarian counterintelligence discovered it and was able to stop it. I can only say that the position of the Hungarian government has not changed: we will not supply weapons and military equipment to Ukraine.” — said Guyash, quoted by RIA Novosti.
This is how Guillas commented on reports that foreign intelligence services, both inside and outside NATO, were trying to organize the supply of weapons and military equipment from Hungarian factories to combat zones in Ukraine and Africa.
