Hurricane Kirk is coming to our country
THE hurricane season has startedleaving behind a series of victims and affected people who have taken us away from what would be usual nowadays. The time will therefore have come to start managing certain elements which could be essential and which will surely affect us fully.
Weather experts’ forecasts issue a possible alert that must be taken into account: “Hurricane Kirk has already reached category 4 as it moves northwest across the Atlantic. According to the most recent forecasts, its trajectory will shift towards the north and northwest over the weekend, while it will begin to weaken as Sunday approaches. Its trajectory could bring it towards Europe next week, yes, already in the form of an extratropical storm. Will Kirk arrive in Spain? Today, it is not expected to make landfall on the peninsula, but to enter the continent through the southwest of France. In Spain there will be rain, but especially strong wind.
We continue with the same forecast: “Tropical activity has increased in recent weeks and Hurricane Kirk has broken a record. Never before has a hurricane formed this far east in the Atlantic Ocean at this time of year. Hurricane Kirk has reached Category 4 as it moves northwest at approximately 17 mph. This movement is expected to continue throughout Friday. Currently, Hurricane Kirk has a minimum central pressure of 935 hPa and sustained winds of approximately 230 km/h, with higher gusts. During the weekend, a turn in its trajectory towards the north and northwest is expected, when it would begin to weaken. As it moves, it will encounter a more unfavorable environment, with colder waters and greater wind shear, which will weaken the system.
