Hurricanes, even the most destructive ones and those that occur in the most unexpected places, are a part of life in the United States. More and more, more and more worse and more and more in areas that until now have not been affected by these disasters. What is difficult to understand in this context is that meteorologists receive death threats or that a Republican congressman has to intervene to refuse a colleague to clarify, no, that the United States government does not did not cause a hurricane.
As in other debates, those who believe in the craziest conspiracies constitute a minority. Even those most wary of the threat of the climate crisis have changed their minds in recent years, perhaps after experiencing the effects of temperature change.
