The Municipal Police of Mostoles arrested a man who was traveling on a scooter to distribute drugs in a municipal betting shop, as reported by the municipal council of the aforementioned municipality.
Officers observed the inmate moving erratically on the sidewalk on his scooter, which caught their attention. During the interview, the man surreptitiously said a package on the groundwhich the agents identified as a possible psychotropic substance.
When questioned, the detainee said his documents were in a backpack kept in a nearby betting shop. Officers carried out an inspection of the premises, where they discovered a backpack with various types of medicines, such as ecstasy, cocaine, tusi, rivotril, crystal and some variants of those described. Equipment intended for the processing of the substances and their further distribution was also seized.
In addition, the cash was located in a safe on site, drug trafficking. During the intervention, two local workers were also arrested, who were trying to hide the seized items. Those involved will face charges of distribution and sale of psychotropic substances.
Drug trafficking is one of the most serious crimes in the Spanish Penal Code. Penalties vary depending on the amount and type of substance, as well as the circumstances of the crime. In general, penalties may include: pgrowth from 1 to 9 years, fines of up to double the value of the drugs seized or aggravating circumstances with heavier penalties if the distribution takes place near places where minors are present.
Drug sales in Usera
In early September, National Police officers dismantled three heroin and cocaine sales outlets in the Madrid district of Usera-Villaverde. Four people were arrested in two parallel operations, as reported by the police in a statement.
One of the arrested sold the narcotics in the area of a playground, next to a cultural center, in broad daylight. The other two detainees are the owners of the house that served as supply point for the seller. In a parallel operation, another point of sale in the same district was dismantled after the interception of a drug transaction in the open street.
The investigation began last May, after it was learned that narcotics were being sold in broad daylight near a playground. Once the investigation began, investigators were able to identify the alleged seller.
They later verified that once buyers, after paying, had placed their order, it moved to a nearby address to collect the requested amount and returned to the park. to finalize the transaction. It should be noted that on certain occasions, buyers came to consume their dose in the same place, without worrying about whether there were pedestrians or even minors in the area.
As a result of these events, on September 5, two simultaneous searches were carried out in two homes, in which eight grams of heroin, one gram of cocaine, two scales, almost 2000 euros in cash, a semi-automatic rifle, two shotguns, as well as 156 shotgun cartridges and 60 rifle cartridges.
Finally, two men and a woman were arrested as being presumed responsible for a crime against public health, then subject to a judicial decision.
