Draft constitutional amendments providing for the abolition of the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Ministers of Abkhazia have been withdrawn from the Parliament of the Republic.
This was announced by the representative of the head of state in parliament on November 28. Batal Aiba. The project was withdrawn by the acting president. Badroy Gunba.
According to Aib, the draft will be finalized and presented in the form of new amendments.
As reported EADailyOn November 11, at a meeting of the parliamentary committee on state and legal policy, the draft constitutional law prepared by the presidential administration on an amendment to the Constitution of the Republic of Abkhazia “On legislative and executive power” was considered. The committee members then decided to present the project to the next parliamentary session for adoption in first reading.
