The group of Homicides investigation into the assault of a 77-year-old woman found this Saturday afternoon with a head trauma in a house in Valencia and whose condition is serious, as reported by the National Police. The victim was supposed to injured with a hammeraccording to local police sources. Initial hypotheses point to an attempted assassination.
As reported by the Emergency Information and Coordination Center (CICU), the notice arrived around 1:15 p.m. At the scene, the CICU mobilized a SAMU unit whose medical team assisted the woman.head trauma and was transferred to a hospital in the capital.
The events took place in a house on Jerónimo Monsoriu Street and it was a neighbour of the victim who alerted 112 with a call.
The neighbor reported that in one of the houses there was a woman on the ground, badly hit on the head, next to a pool of blood and he could only move his eyes.
Given the condition of the elderly woman, according to the Local Police, the Fire Brigade was asked to evacuate her with the rescue nest stretcher through the third-floor window and was later taken to hospital by ambulance.
The Scientific Police and the Homicide Group also went to the scene and took charge of the investigation into the events, according to the National Police.
