I almost understand the ideological struggle that the left to the left of the left, or whatever we must call it now, leads not only against the rich, as the rubes say, but against the well-off or even not, just against what rest of the middle class. Sumar and Bildu or ERC sarcastically boast of being “wrestling” with the socialists on issues that were not included in their electoral program and which were never included in their way of understanding Spanish society. What happens is that by “taking away” things from a majority party like the PSOE, we can conclude that we are witnessing a government of minority parties who seek the applause of their parish and do not think at all about the one who will never vote for them.
