IDF attacks in Yemen: Houthis issue new threats

Houthi terrorists issued new threats, declaring their intention to continue the war against Israel and that they would respond to attacks on civilian targets in Yemen with similar attacks on Israeli targets. One of the main terrorist representatives expressed these threats in an interview with the Lebanese television channel Al-Mayadeen.

These statements came after massive Israeli airstrikes against Houthi-controlled infrastructure.

According to the latest reports from Channel 12, the IDF attacked oil storage facilities in the ports of Hodeidah and Ras Isa, as well as two power plants and the Hodeidah international airport. As a result of these attacks, according to the Houthi Ministry of Health, four people were killed and 29 injured in Hodeidah.

The Houthi spokesman stressed that Israeli strikes will not stop Yemen’s military action. He added that they have a wide range of strategic targets for retaliatory strikes against Israeli civilian targets. He also noted that the United States gave a “green light” to Israel, which, in his opinion, is in a state of euphoria and will have to answer for it. The Houthis also declared that their army was ready to confront both the United States and Israel.

Recall that the IDF began attacking the Houthis’ strategic infrastructure after rocket attacks from Yemen against the southern and central regions of Israel were reported.

On September 28, a Houthi ballistic missile was shot down over the center of the country, and on September 27, a similar missile was intercepted outside Israel. Earlier, on September 15, one of the rockets exploded in the Lod area. In July, the Houthis also carried out a drone strike in Tel Aviv that killed 50-year-old Yevgeniy Freder. Following this attack, the IDF launched its first attack on the oil storage facilities in Hodeidah.

Previously, Kursor wrote that the Houthis launched a ballistic missile at Tel Aviv.

The Yemeni Houthis launched a missile as “revenge” for the liquidation of Hezbollah Secretary General Nasrallah.
