IDF confirms assassination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah

The IDF announced the successful assassination of Hassan Nasrallah, the head of the Hezbollah terrorist organization, which has been active against Israel for decades.

An official statement confirms that the operation took place on Friday, when IDF forces carried out a precision airstrike against the organization’s underground headquarters in the Daahiya neighborhood of Beirut.

According to the military, Israeli Air Force fighter jets attacked a facility that was located beneath a residential building and was used to coordinate attacks against Israel. Key Hezbollah commanders were present at the headquarters during the attack, including Ali Karkhi, commander of the organization’s southern front, as well as other senior members. The liquidation was a response to many years of terrorist activity by the group led by Nasrallah.

Hassan Nasrallah was the leader of Hezbollah for more than 30 years, personally responsible for numerous attacks that resulted in the deaths of Israeli civilians and soldiers. During his leadership, he became not only a symbol of the terrorist organization, but also its strategist, making key decisions. His role in the organization was exceptional, as it was he who approved both global and operational plans.

Since the conflict began on October 8, Hezbollah has actively participated in hostilities against Israel, carrying out regular attacks against civilian and military targets. In response to these actions, the IDF continues to carry out operations aimed at destroying terrorist infrastructure and those waging war against Israeli citizens.

The Israeli military stresses that it will not rest on its laurels and will continue to fight any threat posed by terrorist organizations such as Hezbollah to protect its citizens and maintain security in the region.

Previously, Kursor reported that Hezbollah is planning attacks against Israeli officials around the world.

Embassies and consulates abroad are threatened.
