IDF eliminated commander of Radwan forces in Lebanon – media

Today the media reported that the IDF killed the commander of Radwan forces in southern Lebanon, Hossein Muhammad Asili. He recently assumed this position, replacing Jamal A-Tawil. As a result of this operation, the IDF continues active military operations against Hezbollah units.

This was reported by the Alexey Zheleznov Telegram channel.

Hezbollah Chief of Staff Suhail Husseini is also reported to have been killed as a result of an IDF attack near a military base in Beirut on October 7. According to Lebanese sources associated with Hezbollah, his funeral took place without public ceremonies. Husseini was awarded the title “Grand Commander of Jihad”, which had previously only been awarded to three Hezbollah leaders: Fuad Shukar, Ali Karchi and Ibrahim Aqeel.

Amid the ongoing fighting, Israel has stepped up security measures in the north of the country. As of 8:00 p.m., a closed military zone was declared in the Western Galilee settlements, including Zarait, Shomera, Shtula, Netoa and Even Menachem, with a total ban on entry. These measures expand previously introduced restrictions affecting the territories of Rosh Hanikra, Shlomi and other populated areas.

Additionally, the IDF ordered the immediate evacuation of residents of 19 Lebanese villages located within a 30-kilometer zone of the border with Israel, with the recommended distance being 50 kilometers.

Educational activities have been partially permitted in the southern and northern Golan, and security has been maximized in Daliat el-Karmel and Isfiya.

Previously, Cursor reported that IDF fighters were seriously injured in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip.
