IDF operation in Lebanon and Hezbollah bombings in the north

According to information from US sources, the administration of US President Joe Biden has notified the Netanyahu government of its disagreement with a ground operation in southern Lebanon.

This was reported by the Axios news agency.

The White House spokesman also expressed deep concern over rocket attacks on Israel carried out from Lebanon by Hezbollah terrorists. The announcement comes amid an early morning strike in the Gush Dan region.

“Reports of Hezbollah rocket attacks on Israel are of grave concern. No nation should have to live with such threats on its borders,” the statement said.

The White House also said the time has come for a diplomatic resolution to the conflict to reduce tensions on the border.

Previously, Cursor wrote that Safed Mayor Yossi Kakon gave an interview after the city came under direct missile attack. He said that the rocket landed in an area close to military bases. The mayor clarified that the projectile hit the house, damaging several of its rooms.

Fortunately, he added that at the time of the impact there was no one inside the house, since its owner was outside.

Cursor has already reported that two people were injured in a rocket attack on Kibbutz Saar as they tried to reach a shelter. As there was no protected area in the building, the victims decided to flee to a neighbouring building, where they were caught in the shelling.
