Media reports of new IDF attacks in the western part of southern Lebanon. According to local sources, in recent hours there has been intense artillery activity in the area.

According to the Alexey Zheleznov telegram channel, residents of the border areas note that the sounds of gunfire practically did not stop and were clearly audible near the border. According to sources, the objective of the fire was to scare away residents who approached the restricted area.

Early in the morning, Lieutenant Colonel Avichai Adraei, IDF spokesman, issued a warning to Lebanese citizens. He strongly recommended that they not return to their homes in the south of the country until they receive official permission. Adrai also recalled that crossing the border line poses a serious threat to life.

Despite the ceasefire declaration, residents of some villages began to return to their former places of residence. However, the Israeli military continues to use preventive measures to prevent this process. According to IDF officials, such actions are aimed at ensuring security and reducing risks in border areas.

The use of warning fire is expected to continue in the coming days to prevent a massive return of the population to the dangerous areas of southern Lebanon.
