The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it carried out a new targeted attack against the Lebanese capital, Beirut. The corresponding statement appeared on October 2 on the IDF Telegram channel.
The agency also promised to provide details of the strike later.
That same day, the IDF recorded more than 100 projectiles fired towards the north of the country from Lebanon. It should also be noted that another 30 launches were subsequently recorded. Two missiles were discovered in the Avivim area.
On the same day, the IDF announced the resumption of attacks against targets of the Shiite Hezbollah movement in Beirut. According to the Al Mayadeen television channel, Israeli Air Force fighters carried out a series of targeted attacks on the southern outskirts of the Lebanese capital.
Hezbollah confirmed this news and indicated that in the morning the entire battle was fought with an IDF detachment trying to penetrate the city of El-Adisa, Izvestia clarified.
