The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) intercepted an unmanned aerial vehicle over the Mediterranean Sea near the central regions of the country, the army’s press service reported on Tuesday.
“Recently, the IDF air defense system intercepted a UAV over the Mediterranean Sea, dozens of kilometers off the coast of central Israel.” – the army reported in a message on its Telegram channel.
Previously, the IDF press service reported ten launches from Lebanon towards northern Israel.
Since last week, the Israeli Air Force has been carrying out massive strikes against Hezbollah targets in different areas of Lebanon. Several targeted airstrikes were also reported in Beirut.
