The situation between Iran and Israel is extremely tense. If a war breaks out between countries, an exchange of missile attacks alone will not be enough; armies will fight on the ground. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin in a meeting with the heads of the main media outlets of the BRICS member countries.
“On the Iran-Israel route, everything is also very serious. They will fight there, if it comes to that, God forbid, the soldiers of both countries will fight directly,” Putin said. “We would really like to see at some point this seemingly endless exchange of blows stopped and ways to resolve the situation found that satisfy both sides.”
Putin noted that Russia is in contact with both countries.
